【 永年勤続表彰 】

少し前ですが、

勤続10年の表彰をしていただきました。

毎年「勤続10年」「勤続20年」「勤続30年」に該当する日本海テレビ社員が

3月3日の開局記念式典に合わせて表彰されるものです。

この式典が年度末に行われるのでタイミングがややこしいみたい。

わたしはこの春から12年目になります。

同期入社はわたしの他に男性が3人（報道・営業・営業）いたのですが、

みんな新たな道へと進みました。

周りの人たちは口を揃えて「中尾が一番早く辞めると思っていたのに！」

…わたしもそう思っていました。

気付けば女性アナウンサーの中では一番上、

男女合わせても2番目の社歴となりました。

だからといって偉いわけでも何でもないので、

きょうも慎ましくおしとやかに生きます。

いつもありがとうございます。

A little while ago,

I was commended for 10 years of service.

Employees who have reached 10, 20, or 30 years of service are awarded

on March 3rd every year, the day of  station's anniversary ceremony.

Now this is the 12th year for me.

In the past, there were 3 guys (my colleagues) who joined the company at the same time as me, 

but finally they decided to start their new life in other ways.

Then everyone around me said, "We thought YOU would be the first to go somewhere!" 

Yeah definitely ...I thought so too.

Now I became the oldest female TV anchor, although I'll live more modestly.
